Please, God, Please: Let Golden Girls Legos Become Real

As a show that continues to inspire, amaze and prove that most women are only going to have each other in the end, Golden Girls has found a new way to reach into our hearts and make us swoon: with a Lego set.

Granted, the set is, thus far, just a fan-built entity still yet to be mass-produced by Lego. But it could very well be a reality if it receives enough votes on the Lego Ideas page. And, to be honest, why wouldn’t it? It’s about time adults got some goddamn age-appropriate Legos for themselves. That’s where the Golden Girls come in.

With elaborate sets from the kitchen, living room and exterior of the signature Florida home, one is liable to get lost in the world of Blanche, Dorothy, Sophia and Rose if they aren’t careful. One supposes this is why the creation of this Lego set could be a potentially dangerous/creepy thing. Also, it’s presumable that Golden Girls is still a bit too on the kitsch side for Lego to fully embrace.
