Beyonce & Nicki Minaj’s Feelin’ Myself, Or Finally, An Anthem to Listen to While Taking Selfies

So as not to cause the universe to implode, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj gradually ingratiated listeners to their existence as a duo with a remix of “Flawless” in August, perhaps to prepare us for the unreal majesty of Minaj’s latest single from The Pinkprint, “Feeling Myself.”

Bey and Nicki, a magical musical combination
Bey and Nicki, a magical musical combination
With both women being equally (and deservedly vain) in their own right, their egos combine seamlessly to temper one another’s, with Beyonce singing, “Male or female, it make no difference/I stop the world” and Minaj adding a touch more arrogance with, “And I’m feelin’ myself, jack rabbit/Feelin’ myself, back off/Cause I’m feelin’ myself, jack off/Heard he thinks about me when he whacks off/Whacks off? Wax off.”

With a sinister background sound that has traces of the Psycho score, the confidence and brazen tone exuded by Beyonce and Minaj is liable to infect one with the same level of bravado–particularly while taking a selfie. What better anthem to justify your need to snap pic after pic while this song serves as your soundtrack?
